What is the difference between the options?
BESPOKE INVITATIONS
Our bespoke invitations are guided by your wedding vision and designed from scratch. Whether you come to the table with a strong idea, or a little gem of a thought, we will work together with you to create an invitation that is uniquely you.

The creation of your wedding invitation is a collaborative process which begins with a consultation by phone, email or in person, depending on where you are located. During this consultation, we will chat about your wedding vision and learn more about you, the story of your union and your interests, passions and dislikes. We want to know what excites and inspires you.

Often, visual references will help us greatly. Bring along an heirloom necklace, your favourite fabric swatches, photos of your wedding dress… anything you want to share with us. Almost without fail, these visual inspirations will spark an interesting conversation or ignite a gem of an idea!

SIGNATURE COLLECTION
The signature collection is a culmination of inspiration from a multitude of sources: real weddings, travel, flea markets… you name it. Each invitation is designed not as a cookie cutter template, but rather to reflect a certain wedding mood or theme. We want you to be able to personalize them by offering a selection of complementary illustrations, motifs, ribbons and embellishments.

You are welcome to select any one of our 14 signature designs, or tailor them further to suit your needs. However, additional customization that is otherwise not available for a particular design will incur a fee.

ECO-CHIC COLLECTION
This collection is perfect for couples who are looking for quality design without breaking the bank. It is also a great solution for those looking to incorporate photographs and multiple ink colors in their suite. It’s luxury for less.

You are welcome to select any one of our designs, or tailor them further to suit your needs. However, additional customization that is otherwise not available for a particular design will incur a fee.

Can I order samples?
Absolutely! We understand that your wedding stationery is a big purchase, and we highly encourage that you view a sample before placing your invitation order. Even viewing the loveliest website cannot parallel the exquisite experience of feeling a letterpress invitation in your hands. Our signature letterpress sample sets are available at a fee of $5 per set. Because we are a small shop, our supplies may be limited from time to time. To order, please email us

What is the process like?
PLACING YOUR ORDER
About 1-2 weeks after your consultation, you will be sent a pdf contract with pricing based on your invitation design concept. Once the contract has been reviewed and approved, please sign and return it to ctc. It is necessary for us to receive your signed contract with a 50% deposit, payable by Master Card, Visa, personal check or money order before we can commence any design work.

DESIGN & PROOFING
Once we receive your signed agreement and deposit, our designer will contact you to commence the design process. This is where the fun begins!

For bespoke invitations
We will provide 2 design directions, using the invitation as the basis piece. The chosen direction direction will then be extended across other pieces: RSVP card, directions card etc. Within 2 weeks, you will be sent a proof. Up to to 2 rounds of proofs are included in pricing. There will be a $50 charge for each proof thereafter. Please review the proofs carefully, looking for any spelling errors or typos. When you are happy with the finished product, we will provide a final proof for you to sign and fax back to us. Nothing will print without your final, signed approval.

For signature and eco-chic invitations
We will work with you to personalize your signature invitation and preferred wording. Within 2 weeks, you will be sent a proof. Up to to 2 rounds of proofs are included in pricing. There will be a $50 charge for each proof thereafter. Please review the proofs carefully, looking for any spelling errors or typos. When you are happy with the finished product, we will provide a final proof for you to sign and fax back to us. Nothing will print without your final, signed approval.

When will I get my invitations?
Please allow for 4-5 weeks for delivery after final approval. All orders are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. Local delivery/pick-up in the San Francisco Bay area can be arranged.

Something came up… I need to cancel my order...
Cancellations during the proof process but before final approval will be accepted. The 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellations after final approval cannot be accepted or refunded. Full payment is due.

Do you charge sales tax?
We are required to charge sales tax on all orders shipped within the state of California.
